When Stefany came to me and told me she wanted a Winter Wonderland Wedding I thought it sounded so incredible. White and silver, twinkling lights...and snow. I don't know how she did it but her dream wedding came true. It snowed that very day and now just a few days later the temps are back up to the mid 60's. Good things really do happen to good people! And I'm not just talking about the snow I'm talking about how Stefany + Kyle, two of the kindest people I know ended up together.
The way they speak about each other, the way they lift each other up and the way that they look at each other.... that bond, that strong love they have for one another is so very apparent. The day really couldn't have been any more perfect. Looking around the room full of friends and family grinning ear to ear, tears being wiped from eyes (including my own!), laughter...lots and lots of laughter (and pretty much the best dance moves I've ever seen in my life)! What a beautiful way to start this amazing journey.
She arrived 2 weeks early, the day before Christmas and I'm pretty sure she is the best gift Melyna and Lisa could have asked for. While I was at their home I learned that their dog Skadi passed away shortly after Micah's arrival. It's as though Skadi held on just long enough to meet her baby sister. There is so much love present in this sweet family. I felt it before Micah was born and saw it first hand while I spent time with them in their home this past week. This is what life is all about, being with the ones you love through this amazing journey called life.
