First step, choose coordinating colors. You don't have to "match". You can choose colors that compliment each other or try picking a lighter and darker shade of the same color for a monochromatic effect. And try to avoid dressing everyone in ALL black and ALL white. The colors on camera will start to blend into each other and you won't be able to tell where one person starts and one ends!

Classic cotton shirts are great. But adding textures can really brings a photograph to life by adding dimension. This can be done by simply adding a scarf or belt or even a fun fur vest!

These photos will be hanging on your walls or in albums for years to come. Choosing simple and classic clothes will give these images a timeless feel.

One of my favorite tips is to look around your home. If you're planning on hanging your photos on the walls or displaying them in frames than choosing colors that you already have in your home is a great place to start.
